I was wondering anyone can provide suggestions as to where a good place in Kathmandu is hire jackets, pants, sleeping bags etc for our 18 days trek. The quality of jackets and sleeping bags in most of the shops will be similar. If you have booked the trek with an agent or a guide then probably they might have some familiar shops to do this. Otherwise you can walk around the streets to find one. 25 posts 1 review 2. Most of the rental shops are in a particular stretch of street in Thamel. They are very easy to find. There are plenty of shops. You can hire good original quality stuff as well as not so good ones but then again if you know your stuff, you will be okay.

Read Important info Medlands beach to Anchorage bay Apr 2021 We took the boat from Kaiteriteri at 10:30 am to Medlands beach where we got dropped off at 11:20 a. m. We then walked to Anchorage bay which took us 4 hours including lunch stoppage at Torrent Bay and few photo opportunities along the way. Our 7 yo daughter was able to complete the track without any issues. Medland to Torrent bay is about an hour and 40 minutes. Torrent to Anchorage is about an hour and 30 via the high tide track. We got a bit lost as we took the low tide track only to realize the tide is coming in and had to back track which added another 20 minutes including wet socks and shoes. check with operator on tidal info and dont make the mistake we made as we were following the people ahead of us. It should be ok if you happy to walk in low tide with wet shoes as you wont be able to do it barefooted with a lot of crab shells and muddy terrain kneew down deep.
